WHAT TO PREPARE

Please plan to arrive at the start time and stay until the end.  Arrive early for parking and paperwork.

All roles are open. People looking to audition for a teenage role do not have to be of teenage age, but be able to play one on stage.

Those auditioning should bring sheet music and prepare 16-24 bars of an up-tempo song (not from Bye Bye Birdie) that shows off vocal range and personality. An accompanist will be provided. Please do not bring tracks or sing acapella.
The audition will also include a small dance combination and cold readings from the script for principal roles.

Please come prepared with potential rehearsal conflict dates (evenings you are not available, any vacation periods, etc.)

We are actively seeking and welcoming actors of all races, ethnicity, national origin, religion, mental and physical abilities, sexual/affectional orientation, gender and its expression. Should you have specific needs or you have questions or concerns, please contact info@thecommunityplayers.org
